Social Program: schedule of activities planned for the Summit

A special agenda has been arranged for companions on the 16th and 17th of November. This agenda includes cultural visits around Madrid and shopping tours.

First Day | November 16th , 2023

On the first day (November 16th ), you can enjoy an English-guided tour of the entire historic center of Madrid, starting at 10 a.m. from the Royal Palace and ending at the Casa Lucio restaurant, which will offer a tasting menu of different typical dishes from this famous and traditional Madrid restaurant.

After lunch, there will be time to rest and prepare for the gala dinner at the Palacio de Liria.

The gala dinner will take place on the 16th of November at the Palacio de Liria. The Palacio de Liria is one of the most emblematic palaces in Madrid and will serve as the venue for the Summit’s gala dinner. Built in the 18th century by the House of Alba, the palace houses an impressive art collection, including paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and furniture.

The gala dinner will be a formal event for Summit attendees to exchange ideas and have the opportunity to visit the palace while enjoying a flamenco show.

Second Day | November 17th , 2023

On the second day, there are two very different but equally interesting options:

Option “Shopping Day”

Shopping day at Las Rozas Village, an outdoor shopping center located 25 minutes from Madrid, is an open space where you can enjoy an unforgettable shopping day, strolling through its boulevards with more than 100 luxury boutiques, fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and home goods with big discounts.

You will be picked up in Madrid and taken by minibus to the facilities. Upon arrival at Las Rozas Village, you will enjoy breakfast at the El Mentidero restaurant. Attendees will receive a VIP card with extra discounts and the opportunity to attend a private showroom at Salvatore Ferragamo.

Option “Palace”

Guided tour of the Royal Palace, also known as Palacio de Oriente, was designed in the 18th century and is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, although today it is used exclusively for receptions, ceremonies, and official events since the Kings of Spain reside at the Zarzuela Palace.

During the visit, you can visit the well-preserved Official Rooms, including the Throne Room, which is truly impressive, the Royal Armory with armor, shields, and weapons of all kinds, which constitutes one of the most important and complete collections in the world, and the Royal Pharmacy with hundreds of jars of different shapes and sizes that will take us back in time and, best of all, the laboratory recreation.

For a better organization of the activities, we request prior registration on the website during the registration process.
