The Summit
The Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) will be celebrating the European Union Law Summit for Legal Professionals on November 16th and 17th , 2023.
The Summit aims to:
The Summit will address topics such as the European Green Deal, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, the EU’s relationship with Latin America, the health of the Rule of Law in the EU, and the European Pact on Migration and
Asylum, among many others.
Through a wide range of institutional events, expert panels, and meetings with national and international authorities, the Summit will also provide an initial assessment of the Spanish Presidency in the Council of the EU.
To achieve this, the Summit will count on the participation of prestigious personalities and jurists in the European field, ambassadors, high representatives of Spanish and European authorities, representatives of international legal organizations, and presidents of European bar associations. From the private sector, national and international lawyers, legal advisors, and corporate counsel will participate, providing an excellent opportunity to highlight the commitment to the development of EU law and international collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The summit will take place over two days and will include institutional events, expert panels, and meetings with national and international authorities.
It is projected to hold a total of 250 people, with three simultaneous sessions and a main auditorium for the opening and closing plenaries.
